General Practitioners

EconoCare is a friendly and accessible family practice. We provide all general medical services and treat any condition, from a runny nose to serious medical emergencies.

DNA TESTING

Genetic testing, also known as DNA testing, is used to identify changes in DNA sequence or chromosome structure. Now, DNA can be for: Paternity, Immigration, Infidelity, Environmental and Forensic.

Minor Surgical Procedures

We do minor surgical procedures, suturing of lacerations, setting of fractures, excision of skin lesions, removal or wedge excision of ingrown toenails, vasectomies, circumcisions and many other procedures.

Flu vaccines

Every year, flu viruses claim the lives of about 11 000 South Africans. While we tell everyone to get the flu vaccine, I especially urge those who are most at risk of complications.

Pregnancy – Sonar & Woman’s Health

Ultrasound is used during pregnancy to check the baby’s development, the presence of a multiple pregnancy and to help pick up any abnormalities.

Radiology – X-Rays

X-ray or radiography uses a very small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the body’s internal structures. They are often used to help diagnose fractured bones, or look for injury or infection.

Medical Insurance Reports

This report explains the extent of the injury or disease and what treatment and benefits are required. In most cases the injured employee will need additional treatment until their injury stabilise.

HIV treatment has changed drastically over the past few years. We now have medication with minimal side effects. If you initiate treatment early, take your treatment regularly and have the required routine tests and examinations done, you should live a long healthy life.

General Medical Consultation

Circumcision is a simple surgical procedure that removes the foreskin – a sleeve of skin covering the tip of the penis. It is carried out in a safe and sterile environment.
